FULLY-INTEGRATED ELECTROCHEMICAL SENSOR FOR LEAD DETECTION
This project involves the micro-fabrication and characterization of a low-cost electrochemical sensor for the rapid detection of trace heavy elements like lead in Canadian lakes and water sources.

EARTHQUAKE WARNING & PROTECTION DEVICE
This project involved the development of a device that uses the application of sensor fusion technology and wireless sensor network (WSN) to detect earthquake at the earliest and offer maximum protection to critical infrastructure. The device was networked to the Internet using a customized GUI. The device was tested with both artificial & real seismic stimuli and is currently awaiting patent.

MECHLUNA - regolith mining robot
Designed the electrical control circuits, communication interface, motherboard (PCB), and power management system for the 175lb. robot. MechLuna participated in NASA Lunabotic Mining Competition 2013.

INTELLIGENT VENTILATION SYSTEM (IVS)
Designed the control system for IVS used in BTS telecom sites. The IVS has proven to be a very efficient cooling system by reducing air condition run-time hours. The open source code can be found here.

43kW SOLAR MINI GRID PROJECT
Design of mini grid solar power distribution system inside two Rohingya Refugee camps in in Cox’s Bazar - a project funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The system is not connected to the national grid, however, auto-transfer switches are used in the design to allow switchover to grid power supply. Battery backups are attached to the system using bidirectional inverters.
